Dave joined Reflections in October 2007. He brings with him many years experience and much talent in both keyboards and tenor sax.
Dave's parents, Bill and Heather came to Montreal Canada from England in 1960 where they had 3 boys Danny, David and Andrew (1962, 1963, 1964) and eventually adopted Joanne, a native Indian girl born in 1965 and joined the family in 1967.
The family moved to a new development in Brampton called Bramalea where the kids were all raised and where Dave lived most of his life. Dave explains, "what got me started in music was my earliest memory of listening to my older brother Danny playing a very small wind generated organ, it seemed as though he was having "fun" with it. He could make that thing talk!"
"Later my parents bought .... the piano! I didn’t even know my dad played a piano until the day we got it. I was about 8, and was then introduced to the music of the 40's, 30's and sometimes the 20's (sorry dad). As it turns out, music came from past generations on my fathers side. His mother played and taught the piano, and grandfather was a founding member of the Hanwell Silver Band back in the late 1800's and early 1900's, and so were a big part of the music scene in their generation. After 3 years of listening to the two of them play, I decided it might be “fun” to learn. Well I soon learned how much "work" it was to make live music sound great."
Dave later studied piano with The Royal Conservatory of Music and started with tenor sax at Bramalea Secondary School where he was introduced to all mainstream styles and arrangements of music. Classical, jazz, rock, R & B, soul, and yes even funk, but NOT country. It didn’t take long for him to build a love and appreciation for music. "It’s incredible how much music can come out of 12 notes!"
"I am very happy to be part of this band and have made some great new friends. Many thanks to Anthony and Jeanne for their persistence and encouragement and to Mesha for keeping my feet warm while I play. I’m now playing some country music too!"

"Today, I live near Toronto with my beautiful wife Senia who continues to be my GREATEST fan and critic ... also with us is our black & white cat Venus."
